Apprentice camp in nature conservation

Discover. Tackle. Protect.

Our camps and project weeks for apprentices offer young people the opportunity to step away from their usual work routine for a week, work outdoors, and learn new skills. The apprentices work in teams on concrete nature conservation projects, gain insights into ecological relationships, and learn practical techniques – for example, in landscape management or a traditional craft.

Why a nature conservation camp for apprentices?

  • Gain practical experience : Spend a week working with your hands in nature, gaining practical experience and having fun.

  • Strengthen team spirit through close cooperation within the group.

  • Experiencing ecological connections : Young people develop an awareness of environmental and nature conservation – and see the direct results of their work.

The working groups grow into a team in just one day. The apprentices are well looked after, and even in bad weather there is shelter and a warm fire at lunchtime. I find our work “right on our doorstep” very valuable.

Activities

The apprenticeship camps are aimed at training companies and vocational schools that wish to register entire classes or groups of apprentices for a practical week outside of their usual training or work routine. They are particularly relevant for medium-sized and larger companies as well as vocational school classes from various disciplines.

This program is suitable for both skilled trades and commercial and service-oriented apprenticeships. While practical work and craft techniques are the focus, all participants benefit from experiencing nature, teamwork, and the development of social and self-management skills.
