Guido Fernandez Koch
Intern
My name is Guido. I'm from Lenzburg, but I grew up in Guatemala. There, I studied biology and volunteered at the National Zoo and Botanical Garden, where I developed my passion for conservation.
After completing my bachelor's degree, I flew to Prague to pursue a master's degree in nature conservation. For my master's thesis, I conducted an assessment of fire salamander populations, identifying threats to this species and proposing conservation measures.
I consider myself a personable, friendly, and active person. When I'm not walking in the forest, I enjoy practicing badminton or doing a bit of sports. On quiet afternoons, I read or look for recipes to cook something new. I really enjoy working in the field, and I'm very excited about my internship at Naturnetz. I'm confident that my commitment can make a visible impact on nature conservation.
