Idyll and biodiversity: The village of Campo Blenio and its surroundings

For a week, we'll work together in the Blenio Nature Reserve in beautiful Ticino and experience nature in all its facets. Nestled amidst green pastures and forests lies the idyllic village of Campo Blenio, hidden behind the steep slopes of Sosto. The missions take place in the valley's ancient larch forests and are supervised on-site by forestry workers. Our groups also venture into the floodplain forests and wetlands. Campo Blenio also offers much more, such as hiking opportunities and brief encounters with the friendly locals.

Outdoor education: learning through experience

During their work, the students experience nature with all their senses and can forget about everyday life for a week. The projects often require teamwork and ingenuity from the students. This allows them to learn about their own limitations and possibilities and grow closer together as a class. Selected and situation-adapted environmental education inputs demonstrate the interconnectedness of the surrounding natural world and allow them to experience it firsthand.

Experiencing sustainability: Promoting ecosystem understanding

Working in nature promotes and deepens their understanding of our sensitive ecosystems and the creatures that live within them. With all these ingredients, the students experience an unforgettable week, one they'll tell their children about.
