Paolo Maggini

Paolo Maggini is responsible for the office of Naturnetz Graubünden and lives with his family in Luzein (Prättigau). He completed his studies in geography and social sciences at the University of Neuchâtel with a master's degree, where he was able to acquire conceptual foundations for understanding the cultural and natural landscape around him.
During his studies, he was always very active in various associations promoting environmental and social sustainability, which allowed him to implement and manage several local projects. His experience included an internship in Bern as a research assistant at the Federal Office for the Environment, Biodiversity and Landscape Division, where he became familiar with the national conception of strategies for the management and conservation of nature. In addition to his theoretical knowledge, Paolo grew up in a rural and agricultural world characterized by constant manual work, such as building dry stone walls, felling trees, mowing lawns, cleaning paths, etc.
In his daily life, Paolo is committed to an ecologically sustainable lifestyle and to raising awareness of healthy landscapes and high biodiversity. His passions include climbing, ski touring, cycling and gardening.
