Nicolas Baiker
project management of the civil service
Nicolas Baiker is a project manager at Naturnetz Mittelland. He originally completed an apprenticeship as a commercial clerk and then studied environmental engineering (focus: nature management & species knowledge) at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Wädenswil. Since childhood, he has been a passionate amateur ornithologist and is involved in various projects. In addition to annual breeding bird mapping for the "Long-term observations of biodiversity in the canton of Aargau" (LANAG) project, he is a regional coordinator on the ornithological internet platform www.ornitho.ch and a volunteer at the Sempach Ornithological Institute. Nicolas has already completed his entire community service in practical nature conservation.
