Dr. Marco Sacchi

Dr. Marco Sacchi heads the Development & Operations department at the Naturnetz association and is part of the management team. Marco is also the founder of the Naturnetz association. He studied biology (University of Zurich) and conservation and park management (University of South Australia). His professional focus is on herpetology, ornithology, and entomology. He has many years of experience as a research associate in administration and research, as well as in environmental education. Most recently, he headed the "Species and Habitat Conservation" division of the Business and Ecology Foundation in Schwerzenbach as a project manager. He also has experience as an author (e.g., "Birdwatching in Switzerland"). Marco Sacchi is married and lives with his family in Winterthur.
