Milo Bissegger

Milo Bissegger is the head of operations of the Naturnetz association in Ticino for the 2022 season. He lives in Intragna, in the Centovalli, where he was born and grew up in close contact with nature and all the activities and work of farming.
After graduating from high school, he attended the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo (CN, Italy). His dissertation deals with the topic of the intelligence and sensitivity of plants and their relationship with gastronomy. After completing his studies, in 2019 he became more interested in the plant world, especially edible wild herbs, his great passion, and even passed an exam in botanical field knowledge organized by the Swiss Botanical Society (Bellis 200 certificate). In addition to his numerous side jobs, he works as a consultant in the gastronomy sector, offers workshops and courses on wild herbs, is a member of various associations and projects and is part of the team responsible for maintaining the unofficial hiking trails of Terre di Pedemonte.
His other passions are horticulture and gardening, cooking, the mountains and all activities that bring people closer to the natural environment in one way or another.
